To find X% of Y: multiply Y × (X ÷ 100). Example: 20% of 150 = 150 × 0.20 = 30.

Percentage change = ((New Value − Old Value) ÷ Old Value) × 100. If positive, it's an increase; if negative, it's a decrease.

Formula: (X ÷ Y) × 100. Example: 45 is what % of 180? → (45 ÷ 180) × 100 = 25%.
